For the first time I received a bunch of Prickie badges myself today. They are really sweet! Shipping took more or less 3 weeks from Australia to Spain, which is okay, I think. My first order got lost somewhere on the way, but at Prickie they fixed that sending me a second package right away, thanks for that, Prickie staff. Overall I can say I´m really happy with the pins and now I´ve got enough of them to pin on each Jacket and Messenger bag I own;)

A sad day is upon us. After 1st of february, AOL (current owner of netscape) will no longer support Netscape Naviator. For those unfamiliar with netscape this was one of the first browser out there that kicked started internet revolution. Going head to head with Internet Explorer, it was until mid 90's that Internet Explorer completley dominated the web usage.
I remember signing up to hotmail and college email for the first time on Netscape Navigator on one of the Solaris Unix systems we used for CAD. This was back in 1994 and my first ever experience with the web. Off course, back then there wasn't that much out there and newsgroups via Nescape were fantastic. Sad to see it go.. I wonder what Allmightys would have looked on the good old netscape ..probably wouldn't even load :)

Just a quick update on what has been going on in the last few days. At the moment, we are busy getting ready some neat new little features for the next competition. First of them is (finally) your avatars. Until now we have been using gravatars, which still work if you don't have a picture loaded in your account. If you do have a picture in your account, this will from now on always show up when you are leaving comments. This applies to the blog as well as the Design Forum. Another thing you will notice is that there is no more entry boxes for your name and email address. We now have a full link between your comments and your user account. All you see now is the comment box and nothing else. This was a must as in the last competition we noticed few people leaving positive comments under fake names :) ..where you guys can't tell its them, we always could. Its funny when people try to beat the system :)) We have also added a web field in your user profile...this is for something very cool coming tomorrow. Watch this space!
p.s. Your old comments unfortunately still show no avatar...this is just how the system work. Not to worry, all your new comments will show your own profile pic. Test it out here.
Take a look at these brilliant USB flash drives. I think they are a brilliant combo of a technological gadget and design. Some of them are themed (Star Wars, Halo etc...) and some are individual. I especially love the Darth Vader one, but that's already sold out :)
If you're still looking for a cool Christmas gift, you could get one of these along with a cool Allmightys shirt ;) How about it?
If you are mad about badges or even just an ocasional fan then Badge Reviewis the place to go.Our latest designer a.mar.illo runs the blog and he knows his stuff!
In his words "...find some inspiration on 1 inch diameter."
Now, I always found colour blindness a really interesting fenomenon that at times some friends that were colour blind found me extremely irritating ..always asking questions like .."so what colour is this...".
Colour is subjective but off course majority of us pecieve colour in a particular way ..but there are some trully unique people out there ..that see a whole different picture ..isn't this amazing?
Wanna se what it means...then check out a color blindness simulator, Mac OSX only , sorry..
Sim Daltonism is a color blindness simulator for Mac OS X. It filters in real-time the area around the mouse pointer and displays the result — as seen by a color blind person — in a floating palette.

As with our all competitions, it's brilliant to see the magnitude of approaches and ideas that have been submitted. This surely was a theme with many angles to look at it, and we feel that we have a great range of designs here.
We want to thank you all for submitting such great work!!
As always, we will be printing 6 designs from the range. The three winners all ranked high in the voting and were all very convincing looking at the comments that you left. The same counts for the Special Selections. The runner-ups were also close but maybe just lacked the extra little edge to place them higher in ranking... altogether it was a very hard choice this time...the results are:
Thank you all again for submitting such wonderful designs and thank you, your friends, our new members for taking time to vote. We are now working to get these printed and for you to wear as soon as possible.
What's next? Christmas Break!! :) New competition coming January!!!! Subscribe to our newsletter for updates and to be notified as soon as the new competition has launched.
Thanks again,
Yours, Allmightys Team

Voting Ends Tonight
By: Allmightys Team
We just wanted to remind everyone that the voting for designs submitted for the 'MechTech' competition ends tonight at 23:00 GMT.
So if you haven't voted yet, go here and give the designs the points that you think they deserve...
Collective Perception is an excerpt of SpaceCollective.org, a soon to be released, invite only information exchange dedicated to the future of everything.
SpaceCollective is about to go into public beta and is issuing a limited amount of exclusive beta generation invites now.
Today's Friday Animation is in tune with our current competition, which is in the voting procedure at the moment. There are still a few days left to score the current entries, so if you haven't voted yet, do it now :)! The lead characters are totally in the category MechTech :)
The film was made by Rani Naamani of the Vancouver Film School. I love it especially because of the use of facial expressions on the very simply crafted robot faces. What a pair of eyes and eyebrows can do...
For all you out there who are thinking about giving away an Allmightys t-shirt (or several :)) this year, here's some information about shipping times in the hectic holiday season. The German Post suggests the following shipping dates so that the packages arrive on time:
- for Germany: post by 21.12
- for Europe: post by 12.12
- for the world: as soon as possible, as the actual date is the 1.12.
Please allow 1-2 days for your order to process prior to these dates.
Talking about competitions ...did you know there is only 8 days left to score entries in our current "Mech-Tech" competition? :) Tell us which ones you would like to see printed by scoring all the designs on the scale of 0-5. Winning designs get printed and designers recieve commissions from sales. VOTE NOW!!
