Allmightys Desktops
By: Allmightys Team
We have something special for you on Allmightys: Desktops!!
We love Allmightys tees and what better way to enjoy them, when you are not wearing them, than to have them as your desktop! We have spent quite a bit of time making them and we think they look fantastic! Another great thing is that they are all amazing 2560x1600 pixels resolution ...which on 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display looks WOW!!
We start our run of the desktops with tees from our "Mother Nature" competition.
More coming in the next few weeks!
Now go and grab you favs!

Friday Animation: Robot Chicken
By: Kon
Here is our Friday Animation for this week. Maybe a lot of you are familiar with this animated film already, but I only got the link recently. Apart from being really well done, it's one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time :)

Internet Map
By: Kon
The guys at thewholeinternet.com have created a map of all 4,294,967,296 IP addresses there are. The owner of each IP address is displayed by a grey box while IP addresses that are listed on the Spamhaus XBL blacklist are shown as red dots. It's quite amazing to see the see the huge amount of IPs mapped out like this, especially if you consider that the image on the left is a zoom factor of 4096 addresses per pixel...
you're in there, somewhere ;)
have a look...

World Map of Social Networks
By: Kon
The World Map of Social Networks displays which networks are strong and where. The site covers most networks all over the world and gives you a nice colour coded overview of the world's social activities. The Map shows the most commonly used social networks but doesn't give you a proportionate view if several networks are big in a country.
Have a look at it here...
Data collected by Valleywag. Thanks to Lucas Shaw of Wandamere for the map work.

Festival of Lights
By: Kon
If you happen to be in Berlin during the next week or so, make sure you move across town after dark (not so hard at this time of the year), and you're bound to stumble upon the Festival of Lights that takes place right now. Famous monuments and buildings along with the central avenue 'Unter den Linden' are illuminated by various spots and light installations.
It goes on from the 16th until the 28th October and admission for all sightseeing is free ;)
The festival is accompanied by a number of events, which you can find out about here...

Allmightys Update: Moving Things Around..
By: Allmightys Team
We have spent some time reworking and optimising the shop and giving it a slightly new look. The Shirts are still all there on one page, but we have decided to get rid of the stock charts on the main shop page. This dramatically increases shop's loading time and adding things to basket. You'll be able to see the availability on the individual shirt pages. We think this works better, as it gives you a better overview into what we have on offer!
We also noticed that the designer pages are not as prominent as we would like them to be so instead of them appearing only on the front page, now they are on all the pages.
We hope you like the new look. As always, if you have any comments, please let us know.
Now head over to the "new" shop and enjoy...

Behance : Social Network
By: Filip
I discovered Behance only few days ago. A fantastic new social network site with some very nice features. It's all project oriented and there are some really nice ways you can customise how your projects appear.
Its nice to see there are so many great social network sites out there, the only problem is keeping up with them all. :)
Behance Network is a platform for creative portfolios, projects and collaborations.
If anyone wants an invite, leave a comment and we'll invite you to Behance. (make sure you fill in mail field in the comment box)
Add Allmightys on any of them, we are everywhere :)
also check out: Humble Voice, 5oup.net (students), fecalface.com, 8apps.com
Update: I've updated the image...see anything familiar? :)

Once upon a time... Results!
By: Allmightys Team
The “Once upon a Time...” competition has ended!
The submissions for this competition were extremely varied as you could see. We are very happy that even more designers from all over the world are taking part and submitting their designs. The approaches to his theme were as diverse and exceptional as we had hoped for- thank you all for submitting such great work!!
As always, we will be printing 6 designs from the range. Since the introduction of the Design Forum, the selection of the winning shirts is now based on the average score, the comments for each design and the type of votes received. We think it's great that the design forum is used the way we intended it too: a place to share thoughts and talk about each others work.
The three winners all ranked high in the voting and were all very convincing looking at the comments that you left. The same counts for the Special Selections. The runner-ups were also close but maybe just lacked the extra little edge to place them higher in ranking... altogether it was a very hard choice this time. The results are:
Prize Winners (Printed)
1. The King Is Dead by Yonil (Com: 2.00 EUR per shirt sold)
2. Vile Stories by Puzon (Com: 1.50 EUR per shirt sold)
3. It's for you... by knikola (Com: 1.00 EUR per shirt sold)
Special Selection (Printed)
(Commission: 1.00 EUR per shirt sold)
1. Knightwear - The Medieval Collection by Yonil
2. Once upon a time... the '80 by ERfromTM
3. Passing by seaci
Special Mention (Not Printed)
(order by score)
1. Imagine by Joe Gonzalez
2. Poison Apple by andykako
3. Little Red Riding Hood by Leo
4. I Love Fairy Tales by nelloforesto
5. Living On A Watermelon by jjking2007
For full listing including images please visit our past competition page.
Thank you all again for submitting such wonderful designs and thank you, your friends, our new members for taking time to vote. We are now working to get these printed and for you to wear as soon as possible.
What's next? New competition coming later today!!!!

The Wayback Machine
By: Kon
Wouldn't you sometimes like to see what a certain site looked like in it's early days?
Here's the tool to do that: the Wayback Machine. A cool site that archives a site's appearance in certain intervals since the beginning. Can be useful at times and it's certainly fun to see how some sites have developed and changed over the years...
Allmightys certainly looks different since the early days ;)

Creative Recycling of your old PC
By: Filip
In the theme of our current competition, here is an interesting post over at our friends darkoastedblend. Some ideas on what you can do with your good old computer equipment.
Given the Moore's law that the power of computers doubles every 24 months, we end up with a lot of useless devices and obsolete hardware, that you sure can recycle in a normal way, but it's much more fun to recycle it in a wild and unusual ways! Let's see how to give a new life to the computing zombies of yesteryear.

Vinyl Wallpaper
By: Kon
Here is something for you if you are tired of the look of your wall and are considering a new wallpaper:
“Domestic is a French company that has been commissioning image makers to create designs and illustrations which are made into vinyl sticker packs under the product name Vynil and sold in design-focused shops in France. The company has teamed up with über-cool Paris store Colette to create Vynil curated by colette, a collection of wall vinyls designed by artists selected by colette.”
