This is quite amazing and finally about time!! Allmightys has been waiting soooo long for this now that the Serif fonts are/have been so popular!

FontFont have announced that they are to release Helvetica Serif,following the discovery of drawing of that typeface by Max Miedinger. The sketches which were discovered by Miedinger’s granddaughter have been redrawn to create the digital version shown above. read more

I stumbled upon this cool illustrator called Lev Yilmaz.

He does some amazing comics and animated short films that you can watch on his homepage. I think he's got a brilliant perception on the little details of everyday life...

definately worth checking out...

You really have to try this ..absolutely brilliant ...i tried it out the other day and was chatting to this character ..the conversation went like this:

me: Hey
other: hi
me: This is pretty cool, isn't it?
other: Yeah it is ..
other: Are you M/F?
me: M
other: Forget it ..I am off ...

hehe..

try it ..its fantastic and the characters are just brilliant!
(for those not clear what you need to do ..its simple, pick the character at the bottom of the screen and type messages ...you can drag your character around the wold too....e.g. put them in front of another character and have a chat)

This is an interesting french site for storytellers and illustrators alike. It reminds me a bit of chinese whispers...

The idea is that anyone can submit an illustration with a story line based on what is there already...

I wonder how long they can keep it up and how the story is going to end...?

Here is the ultimate box-set collection of the adventures of notorious Calvin and his stuffed tiger, Hobbes. If you, like me, got a million laughs out of Calvin's view on the world and his own way to deal with it (be it as the fearless spaceman Spiff or his superhero alter-ego "Stupendous Man") then this is definately one to go for!
